Extinguisher Stands
For aesthetic reasons, wall mounting fire extinguishers can be unappealing, especially in open plan offices and similar spaces. Additionally, some locations may have unsuitable walls for mounting. In such cases, extinguisher stands are necessary.
Extinguisher stands not only improve the appearance but also help create a clearly identifiable fire point.
Fire Equipment Cabinets
Our selection of extinguisher and hose reel cabinets is perfect for locating fire equipment outdoors or mounting on road vehicles.
Made from high-impact polyethylene or glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), these cabinets provide practical storage and protection from the elements. They are self-colored red to BS 04-E-53 standards.
Smoke Detectors
There are mainly four types of smoke alarm currently on the market – ionisation, optical (also described as photo electronic), heat and combined.
Carbon Monoxide Detectors
A carbon monoxide (CO) alarm should be fitted in any home that contains a fuel burning appliance, like a boiler, and tested regularly to ensure that it is working.
Our range of combination CO alarms includes units which combine Carbon Monoxide and Smoke or Heat sensors in a single alarm. This is ideal for providing protection against multiple risks in a single location without the need to install multiple alarms, saving time, space and cost.
Ancillary Equipment
Ancillary Equipment makes up the third and finial instalment of our fire protection accessories. Here at Fire Protection Services we supply a comprehensive range of other high quality and fully conformant products vital for people’s safety in emergency situations, including:

Hose Reels
Fire hose reels have become less common in recent years and Fire Authorities are recommending that they be removed and replaced with alternative means of fire fighting such as portable fire extinguishers, however in some situations fire hose reels remain the only option. Where this is the case, they still must be maintained to ensure that they remain in an operable condition and can be relied upon in the event of fire.
